Nick started working with my daughter and her dog Dahlia a few weeks ago. After just two sessions we saw immediate improvement. She went from being overreactive and excited to controlled and responsive. Nick is skilled in seeing things us average dog parents tend to overlook. Thankfully Nick has the skills to teach my daughter and myself how to be the leaders of our Doberman. We are truly grateful for K9 National Services.

Nick is amazing in how he identifies and explains the individual nuances and needs of my new reactive rescue dog. He gives tangible direction and advice about how to modify my behavior, voice, and body language to ensure an improved response from my dog (I jot down a page or two of Nick wisdom after every training session to help me stay consistent!). Every adjustment he asks me to make is thoroughly contextualized so that I can fully understand what I'm doing and how I can be a more effective owner. Some behavior improved within just a few days, and some of the more difficult behaviors are showing steady improvement. Nick always listens to my concerns and is so patient with all my questions. In just a few weeks I've gone from being unable to leave my yard because I didn't know how to control the dog's reactions to mostly relaxed walks throughout our busy neighborhood. My dog now ignores some of the easier triggers, like squirrels and cats, and no longer locks in position and fixates on other dogs (no more dreaded "crocodile" stance!). We can continue walking with little to no lunging and minimal barking. Nick always maintains a relaxed attitude and uses positive reinforcement which sets such a great example for me. I especially love the way Nick observes my handling of the dog and immediately addresses what I'm doing right and wrong, and then demonstrates how to improve. My relationship with my new dog is so much stronger, richer, and more effective thanks to Nick. Can't recommend him highly enough!

I rescued a 4 month old German Shepherd, Sadie May Grace. I had 7 other older small dogs. I've always had dogs in my family . All rescues, nut never a Shepherd puppy.  I knew with Sadie I would need help.

She is sweet, not aggressive at all. But she also had fear aggression. Which I learned from Nick.

Needless to say, Nick came out That same afternoon, he needed to see my  Sadie  along with my other dogs. As soon as he steps in my yard there was a difference with Sadie. He quickly took control of an out of control Shepherd.  Nick is extremely knowledgeable about dogs and  their behavior.

But most importantly he has HELPED me, see what I was doing wrong. He's been very patient with me.  I realize,  I'm the one with the bad habits. I  needed to be trained. I'm the one that needs, the

he education,

and the discipline to be consistent. We have come along way, and have much to learn from Nick. Let me just say I would recommend Nick to anyone. For any breed for any type of behavior modification or training. I have 7 other dogs. It was  extremely challenging before Nick came to work with us.  I am a work in progress but with the training that Nick has provided thus far, it has worked for all of us. I feel a great sense of ease now that Nick has been working with us.  He is a professional and knows his stuff.   I know now that myself and Sadie are being trained by the best. I will keep you posted on our progress, or should I say my progress.

Nick is indeed the dog whisperer.  We have seen him perform miracles right before our eyes on not one but two (brother and sister) Rottweilers that live in the same household.  He never raises his voice and proves over and over they indeed listen better to a calm and controlled command. This is just the opposite of what you would think and do but in reality talking louder or faster is showing them you are nervous, anxious or not in control. Therefore the command will fail.

The first time I called Nick for help, he never once said this problem could not be fixed as the last 4 trainers had; rather, he met with the babies, evaluated them right away and within minutes determined our male was not an aggressive dog by nature but was showing anxiety behavior and he indeed could help him by working with all of us.  We have made so many strides and finding Nick was the answer to our prayers.

Nick gives the parents/owners the training tools to correct the behavior, and explains the rationale behind each step. He does not train them per say. He trains the parents. We are actively involved every step of the way. And the positive results are astonishing.

We and our babies look forward to our visits with Nick. They love him and when they see him they cry with delight. Nick is always available for our dogs, 24/7. Recently we had an emergency with our male Rottie and Nick changed his entire schedule around to be there to support us and actually go the veterinarian center with my husband. How unique and personable is that?

Nick is part of our family now and forever.  HE IS SUCH A GIFT and the best decision we ever made.

If my husband and I could give Nick 10 stars we would!  We cannot say enough about how much he helped us with our two male Shiba Inus.  Both our boys are rescue dogs and they have completely different personalities.  They had a lot of trouble acclimating to one another.  We took them to trainers.  They passed obedience with flying colors but at home, they just could not get along.  For over a year, we reached out to a number of other trainers and behaviorists for help, but nothing worked until we found Nick!

Nick is an AKC trained behaviorist who truly cares about 'his dogs'.  He cares about the humans too, but his priority is to make sure the dogs meet with success.

On the very first day, Nick came out to our house and watched our dogs interact with each other and with us.  His analysis was that our dogs were 'good boys' and that there was a lot of hope for them.  (Did I mention that we were so frustrated up to this point we were ready to rehome one of them?)

He analyzed my husband and me too :)  Initially, most of the work was with me and Koda - the black and tan Shiba.  Koda and I did not trust one another.  I was nervous around him and Koda was nervous around me.  Because of that Dexeter - our red Shiba, was nervous too and was trying to control the situation - all kinds of tension in our house.

Long story short, after a lot of guidance from Nick, and some backsliding on our part, everyone is getting along great.  After about 2 1/2 months of working with Nick, we were able to take our dogs camping with us in a confined space.  The dogs were rock stars!  Back home from vacation the boys are even able to nap next to each other.  That never would have happened without Nick.

We are so very thankful for Nick!

Nick has been great to work with. He is very personable and is able to explain what he is doing and why he is doing it. I am currently doing behavior management sessions with my 6 month old German Shepherd and can already see not only my dog has learned a lot but so have I. Nick makes sure you know what you need to do to be successful and reach your goals for you and your dog.

my husband and i were desperate. our little rescue pup ended up being mostly American Staffordshire terrier- and looked like one. unfortunately this put off a lot of people. including our vet. he was sweet and snuggly with us but reactive and aggressive toward others. the vet tried medicating him but he fought the meds. the vet ended up refusing to see him. we had one trainer come to our home and tell us he was hopeless- he had a "mean streak" and actually advised euthanasia. friends and acquaintances likewise recommended either "re-homing" or euthanasia. we couldnt re-home him because he was 80lbs of intensely focused muscle and aggression when he was triggered and we were worried that he would only be mistreated. so we were considering euthanasia but kept trying to see if we could get any help because he was so incredibly sweet with us. one trainer told us he would need to be muzzle trained before he would even see him which was disheartening because he will not keep a muzzle on (dog is like Houdini, i swear).  so one last time i went to google to try and find someone who would work with an aggressive dog. and i really believe that God was kind. we found Nik Sharma (K-9 National). he has been working with our pup and progress is amazing!!! he went from lunging, barking and growling at the first session to now being able to walk with Nik on a leash!  He has actually played with other dogs! and was able to be around Nik's family without any aggression. we are getting ready to bring him to the vet's.  we were a little leery at first because the cost seemed a little high, but we were desperate. and i saw a review online from a FRIEND and COLLEAGUE of mine! she has 2 rottweilers also with aggression issues. i called her. she has been working with Nik for over a year and could not say enough good things about the work he has done with her dogs!  she told me it was a worthwhile investment that i would not regret and she was right!  Nik Sharma at K-9 National Services saved our dog's life and i am so so grateful!!!  if you have a dog who is reactive or with aggression issues, i would not hesitate to consult him and recommend him wholeheartedly.

Love working with Nick! He has helped improve our relationship with our dog immensely. Focuses on understanding what our dog needs from an emotional standpoint, which has helped us understand why she reacts the way she does in certain moments. He is very flexible with your schedule, and you can tell he cares a lot about all his clients and creating a better life for every dog he works with!

Nick is a magician!

I have a new rescue dog who was badly in  need of training. After watching many online training videos, with no success, I turned to Nick for help. I knew that if I was going to enjoy my new pet, Micky had to learn to behave in a way that was comfortable for me. He had to learn to walk on a leash without pulling. He had to sit and stay. He had to listen when I called him. As always, these things remain a work in progress, be we keep practicing.

Nick was firm, but kind. He taught me that I don't have to use treats to train my dog. He taught me to use hand signals and auditory ques that help Micky know what I expected of him.

Always, it was me that Nick was training.  At times I was skeptical, but Nick was encouraging.  Even when there were  commands I didn't think my pet could possibly accomplish, Nick helped us work toward success.

I am so pleased with my experience. It was worth every penny.  If you're thinking about whether or not this is a good investment, It is!

Nick is amazing! I recently adopted a 9 month old mix and this is my first time having a dog on my own (I've always had family dogs, but this is different). Captain is a great dog, but he definitely needs some training for things like not jumping on people and how to properly walk on a leash. I would read things online on how to train my dog and it just wasn't working.  As soon as Nick showed up, he showed me the correct way of how to train my specific dog. Within 5 minutes of meeting Captain, he knew exactly what would work well for Captain and what wouldn't. Nick is really gentle and caring. He is training me more than my dog! Captain learns from him very quickly, but Nick makes sure to spend time with me so that I have the correct confidence and body language when training my dog. We have only had a few sessions but I am extremely happy with the results and I have recommended him to friends.

Nikhil is the best best best dog trainer I have personally ever had in my life. I do not have a best dog in the world, my beagle has aggression problem and create many conflicts in my daily life. Nikhil come over and provide the help I needed the most. The water technic, proper command technic, and his communication with dog amazed me. Me and my girlfriend purchased the top package with Nikhil after 5 visits. The last thing I want to leave with this review is same thing people have different opinions, but what is helping will always be helpful no matter what.

On the advice of a friend we contacted Nikhal. A rating of 10 is not high enough! Our Rhodesian Ridgeback is a very smart boy, able to manipulate his "parents", listening to commands when the mood hits him or there is food involved. Prior to being introduced to Nik, our "training" consisted of tricks learned by offering treats and old school training that involved collar yanking (We lasted for only 2 sessions with that one,  it was awful!).

Nik is an amazing AKC recognized Behaviorist who uses no treats at all, but rewards with love. A true professional, Nik brings with him a calming presence that instantly put us at ease.

He is literally able to get into our dog's head, understands his mindset, and is able to anticipate his next move. In a short period of time Nik assessed our needs and established a relationship with the family and our dog.

We have seen absolutely no negativity in his approach and feel fortunate to have Nik's expertise guiding the development of good behaviors.

We had our first visit with Nick tonight and it was AMAZING! He was immediately able to modify some behaviors for my dog, Griffin, in just his initial visit. Nick listened to our concerns and quickly gave an accurate assessment of Griffin while at the same time  demonstrating care and concern for him. He took his time and explained everything to us clearly. We are looking forward to working with Nick for a complete behavior modification for our good boy!

Nick was very quick with responding and fitting us in as soon as possible! After years of living together, my pyrenees decided he didn't want to share the house with our other dog. They would walk into a room and just fight. I called nick Friday night and he was at our house 7:30am Sunday! Nick was very friendly, understanding, and diligently explained everything. With a quick 30 minute training session, nick identified the issue and showed us how to stop and prevent the fighting. Ever since, the dogs get along great again and share every space together! Nick is extremely informative with training and getting any issue under control. He truly cares for the pets and families. I highly recommend him for all dog needs!!

My husband and I used K9 National Services for our dog Porter. Nikhil was an amazing trainer. He was very flexible with scheduling, and always worked around our schedule. Whenever we had a question, he was available via phone/text, and promptly got back to us. During training, he was patient with our puppy, and us (First time dog owner)! You can tell he is extremely knowledgeable about dogs. His training approach is very helpful and we were able to carry over the training when he left. I would absolutely recommend his services!
